Luke Rankin has spent his life championing conservative causes, protecting our freedoms, and delivering results for our communities. With our support, Luke will continue to provide principled and honorable leadership for our neighbors – as State Representative.
As a Laurens County Councilman, Luke has championed efforts to support law enforcement, including securing funding to increase salaries for deputies and procure necessary vehicles and equipment for the sheriff’s office. A strong supporter of veterans, Luke also helped allocate financial resources for a new American Legion post building. And, recognizing the challenges of rapid growth in the Upstate, Luke has consistently advocated for controlled development that preserves Laurens County’s rich heritage while creating opportunities for future generations.
As Chairman of the Laurens County Republican Party, Luke has led efforts to defend biblical values, protect the sanctity of life of the unborn, fight for election integrity, unmask the political games during COVID, and reject woke ideology. For his conservative accomplishments, including growing the local Republican Party, Luke was awarded the 2022 Young Republican of the Year Award from the South Carolina Republican Party.
A school choice advocate, Luke is a homeschool graduate and earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from Piedmont Technical College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Southern New Hampshire University. An entrepreneur who has worked in the banking industry, Luke serves on the advisory board of the Upstate Pregnancy Center and is a classically-trained singer who regularly performs with his family at churches and community events. Luke and his fiancée, Hope, are set to be married later this year.
